Recreation Basketball

Hackettstown Recreation is part of the Eastern Warren County Basketball League (EWCBL). The league is open to Hackettstown Residents and we compete with the sending districts of Independence, Allamuchy & Liberty.

GENDER / GRADE LIMITS / LOCATIONS:

          CLINIC CO-ED      Grades 1-2            Hatchery Hill School                        
          GIRLS                     Grades 3-4            Hatchery Hill School
          BOYS                      Grades 3-4            Hatchery Hill School
          GIRLS                     Grades 5-6            Allamuchy Elementary School
          BOYS                      Grades 5-6            Allamuchy Elementary School
          GIRLS                     Grades 7-8            Great Meadows Middle School
          BOYS                      Grades 7-8            Great Meadows Middle School                                    

REGISTRATION DATES / FEES:

          Open Registrations start 3^rd week in September through end of October.
          Registrations can be done online and/or in person.
          Registration Fees for Hackettstown Residents ONLY is $15/Player this
          includes Uniforms and League Fees.

GAME LOCATIONS

          Basketball Clinics (Grades 1 & 2) are held on Tuesday and Wednesday
        evening at Hatchery Hill School
        Grades 3^rd & 4^th Boys and Girls are held at Hatchery Hill School
        Grades 5^th & 6^th Boys and Girls are held at Allamuchy Elementary School
        Grades 7^th & 8^th Boys and Girls are held at Great Meadows Middle School. 

PLAYER DRAFTS

Hackettstown Recreation oversees the player draft by each division coach.
Teams are made of Hackettstown Resident players only.
Player Drafts are intended to assure that all teams are equal and try to avoid “stacked” teams.
